The 2025 tournament will celebrate its 25th year in Charleston in 2025. All 100-level seats and ticket packages have already sold out for the 2025 tournament.
“We’re excited to welcome back our 2024 champion and finalist for this year’s tournament,” said Bob Moran, President of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. “Danielle and Daria put on a fantastic final last year, and it’s great to have both back in Charleston. Danielle, our 2024 champion, and Daria, our 2017 champion, have each made a big impact on our event and have amassed a huge fanbase in the Lowcountry. We’re looking forward to another outstanding tournament and we can’t wait to host our incredible players and attendees again in Charleston soon.”
Collins has won four WTA career titles and is an Australian Open finalist. She captured back-to-back titles in 2024, winning both the tournaments in Miami and Charleston. Her 2024 season also included quarterfinal appearances in Doha and Austin, a semifinal finish in Rome, and a run to the finals in Strasbourg. She also qualified for the Paris Olympics, where she reached the quarterfinals.
“After a 2024 season that I’m very proud of, I have decided to return to defend my title at the Credit One Charleston Open,” said Collins. “Winning this event last year was an unforgettable moment, and the energy and love from the fans in Charleston made it even more special. I can’t wait to come back, play in front of that amazing crowd once more, and give it my all!”
The American will return to Charleston for the fourth time in 2025, holding a 9-2 win/loss record. Along with her 2024 singles title, Collins is also a 2023 Charleston doubles champion.
World No. 11 Kasatkina has won eight career titles and is a Roland Garros semifinalist. The 27-year-old had a strong 2024 season, which included capturing titles in Eastbourne and Ningbo, reaching finals in Adelaide, Abu Dhabi, Charleston, and Seoul, and competing in the quarterfinals in Brisbane and Tokyo.
Kasatkina has reached the quarterfinals or better in all five of her Charleston Open appearances, holding an impressive 18-4 win/loss record at the tournament.
“Charleston has always been a special place for me. After winning in 2017 and reaching the final in 2024, I’m looking forward to returning this year,” said Kasatkina. “I really love playing in front of the amazing fans there – their support means a lot to me. I’m excited to be back to compete on the green clay, a surface that I feel really comfortable on.”
